I love love love coffee. I make a body (& face) scrub from my coffee grounds (3/4), brown sugar (1/4), and a couple of squirts of olive oil. It is amazing; cleans, rejuvenates, and leaves your skin oh so soft.

Did you know that coffee grounds provide an excellent fertilizer for your garden.
So before you shake them over your trash can, try these out and you will never throw them away again.

Toilet paper rolls:-)
Grow anything from a seed! I like to make green houses with fruit containers. Then cut toilet paper roll in half then again half way on each side. Fold the four sides to make a little cup. Fill the plastic fruit containers with the cups, so they don't move around (usual six to eight.) Fill the cups with dirt, and the pack seeds in. Fertilize on top. Water. Place in sun.
Also...
If you are a teacher. You can either cover each side of a toilet paper roll with construction paper, red and green. Or marker each side with red and green ink. Give one to each student. Ask the class to hold up the red side if they don't understand, or green if they do understand.
Also...
If you have little ones. Stick sticks through and build houses or castles. Use as megaphone or telescope. Be creative and have fun.

Before throwing something in the trash think.
I am the first person to throw things away I don't use or donate them to charity because I enjoy organizing and decluttering. Then I thought about it and I can reuse and renew those items I usual recycle, while also saving money. I am a strong supporter for of the three R's recycle, reuse, and renew. I never thought about renew as much till I really needed to save money and Pinterest gave me ideas. This is also a fun way to involve your kids in being responsible eco-citizens and fun crafts. Now I just think before tossing anything in the trash.
The ribbons inside clothes for hanging
I was always cutting the ribbons to hang up dresses out, but then I tied them together and glued them to a Barret for my little girl.
